Welcome to the 2018 Fall Solomon Farm German Riding Pony Auction. We also offer Buy It Now Prices - so contact us for more information on the pony/s you are intereseted in!
In case you haven't noticed already - we're a long ways from anywhere. Our 4,000-acre corner of heaven is a perfect place for breeding and raising sound, sane young sporthorses, but it's a bear to market them from here! For this reason, we started our tradition of offering our riding prospects, foals and breeding stock in online auction format each fall. This auction you're viewing is our German Riding Pony collection. All of the 2018 foals are weaned, have had their first shots and are on a regular deworming and farrier schedule. Coggins and health certificate are included.
All weanlings and yearlings are branded, microchipped, registered Westfalen, with full German passports - All have USEF Lifetime #'s too! Older ponies have RPSI German passports unless otherwise noted. These youngsters have grown up naturally, with an ideal combination of freedom to move on 4000 acres of prairie hills & valleys, and time in the barn in a professional training program, learning to be fun and willing partners for sport. Some of the top bloodlines in Warmblood sport and breeding are represented in these lovely young horses.

Auction Terms & Conditions All ponies listed are availalbe with Buy It Now pricing up until bidding online reaches their Reserve Price. The pony will sell to the highest bidder once the Reserve has been met online, if no Buy It Now bid has been accepted by phone. By bidding on a horse you are entering an agreement with Solomon Farm to purchase the horse for that amount, if the Reserve has been met. Please notify Solomon Farm if you would like to request a pre-purchase vet exam BEFORE the end of the auction. You will be notified by email when you are the high bidder, or if you have been outbid. Bidder Registration includes Credit Card Verification to confirm identity - but payment may be made with Wire Transfer, PayPal, Money Order/Certified Check, or Credit Card. All winning bidders please contact Solomon Farm for payment instructions. Payment is due within 7 business days of close of auction, or within 5 days of a satisfactory prepurchase vet exam if requested .
A Test Horse has been added to the auction for the purpose of practice bidding. Your bid on Lot #100 TEST HORSE will not be counted as an actual bid. This Test Horse is to warm up your Bidding Clicking Finger only!
All Auction Horses are up-to-date on all Vaccinations and De-Worming. Many Solomon Farm auction horses (with the exception of 2018 foals) have had a Pre-Sale Vet Exam already completed, with flexion tests for riding horses. Please call or email to request a copy of the Pre-Sale Vet Exam Results. All mares listed as In Foal have been confirmed in foal and sell with a Live Foal Guarantee and Breeding Certificate. Please email or call before the close of the auction if you would like to arrange further vetting. All individual pre-purchase exams and x-rays must be arranged in advance of closing date of auction, and completed within 10 days of closing date of auction, or at the earliest convenience of the veterniarian's schedule. Equine Transport companies names and contact information will be provided for shipping, and 4 weeks board will be included in the final selling price to allow buyers time to arrange shipping. If more time is needed board will be pro-rated from the current monthly board fees of $250/month.
