Description
Welcome to the 4th Annual Solomon Farm Online Auction. Please check back in with the auction over the next few days as we will be adding horses, as well as pedigree and video links. Please email info@solomonfarm.com or call Ann at 605-685-3089 with any questions about the horses on offer or to request further information/arrange a visit. Opening bids are set at $0. Each horse has a reserve price which is the minimum amount that horse will sell for. If bidding reaches that horse's reserve, then the horse will be sold to the highest bidder. Interested buyers can also call or email to Make an Offer. If the horse does NOT have a bid reaching its reserve, and the offer is accepted, then that horse may be sold before the closing date of the auction. Once a horse has a bid which reaches its reserve, offers will not be accepted and the horse will remain in the auction until the closing date and time. The horses are listed with a Category for their Reserve Price: Reserve Category A (up to $4,500) Reserve Category B ($4,501 - $7,000) Reserve Category C ($7,001 - $10,000) Reserve Category D ($10,000 - $15,000) Reserve Category E ($15,000 and above) The auction will begin closing for bidding on Sunday November 8th at 8 pm CST. Each lot will close, one after the other, in order of lot number, in 90-second intervals, beginning at 8 pm CST. This means that Lot #1 will close at 8 pm, Lot #2 at 8:01 and 30 seconds, Lot #3 at 8:03, etc. etc. Each lot is set to finish with a Soft Close - which means that if a bid is placed on a horse in the last 2 minutes of the auction, the time on that lot will extend by another 2 minutes. This is to discourage automated sniper programs, which swoop in with a bid in the last seconds of an auction, faster than human reaction time. Horses entered in this auction have Pre-Sale vet exams available, as well as photos of legs and feet. Please call or email for a copy of these results, or to set up a visit or further examinations. On Bidding - you may either click on the next bid amount, or you can highlight over the amount and enter the amount you are willing to pay for the horse. The auction software will bid for you, just enough to secure you as the highest bidder if possible, like on Ebay. This is called a Proxy Bid. Bidding will open at 9 a.m. CST on Saturday October 25th, and lots will begin closing at 8 p.m. CST Sunday the 8th of November. All winning bidders will receive an invoice by email with payment instructions. Please feel feel to call Ann at 605-685-3089 or email info@solomonfarm.com with any questions about the horses or the auction process. You can visit our website for more information on our farm, stallions, training and breeding programs, as well as to see alumni from former auctions. www.solomonfarm.com Happy Bidding!
